n :  a decapeptide hormone produced by the hypothalamus that stimulates the adenohypophysis to release gonadotropins (as luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone) - called also luteinizing hormone-releasing factor , luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone  .
