arcuate popliteal ligament

n :  a triangular ligamentous band in the posterior part of the knee that passes medially downward from the lateral condyle of the femur to the area between the condyles of the tibia and to the head of the fibula - compare OBLIQUE POPLITEAL LIGAMENT  .
