n :  a genus of heathlike evergreen shrubs of the family Solanaceae of Central and So. America that include one (F. imbricata) whose dried leaves and twigs have been used to treat some kidney ailments
 
Fabián y Fuero, Francisco (1719-1801),
Spanish archbishop. Fabián was archbishop of Valencia, Spain. The genus Fabiana was named in his honor in 1794 by H. Ruiz Lopez and J. Pavon.
