lateral arcuate ligament

n :  a fascial band that is formed by part of the quadratus lumborum muscle, extends from the tip of the transverse process of the first lumbar vertebra to the twelfth rib, and provides attachment for part of the diaphragm - compare MEDIAL ARCUATE LIGAMENT MEDIAN ARCUATE LIGAMENT  .
