hog cholera

n :  a highly infectious often fatal disease of swine caused by a togavirus and characterized by fever, loss of appetite, weakness, erythematous lesions esp. in light-skinned animals, and severe leukopenia - called also swine fever  - see AFRICAN SWINE FEVER  .
