throat botfly

n :  a rusty reddish hairy botfly of the genus Gasterophilus (G. nasalis) that lays its eggs on the hairs about the mouth of the horse from where the larvae migrate on hatching and attach themselves to the walls of the stomach and intestine - called also chin fly , hroat fly  .
