Moloney virus

n :  a virus which causes lymphocytic leukemia in mice - called also Moloney leukemia virus , Moloney murine leukemia virus , Moloney sarcoma virus 
 
Moloney, John Bromley (b 1924),
American biologist. Moloney devoted his career to research at the National Cancer Institute. He studied the biological and biochemical properties of tumor viruses. He gave particular attention to the leukemia agents: a murine sarcoma virus (the Moloney virus) and the Rous sarcoma virus.
