n :  one of the particles making up a Bollinger body
 
Borrel, Amédée (1867-1936),
French bacteriologist. With Albert L. C. Calmette, Borrel developed in 1895 a vaccine for use against bubonic plague. In 1898 he diagnosed sheep pox. He also investigated cancer, cell division in neoplasms, the action of glycogen on tumors, tuberculosis, and bacteriophages.
