Hun·ner's ulcer
n : a painful ulcer affecting all layers of the bladder wall and usu. associated with inflammation of the wall Hunner, Guy Leroy (1868-1957), American gynecologist. For virtually all of his career Hunner was associated with Johns Hopkins. He made important studies of sterility. In a 1932 article on the treatment of interstitial cystitis he described the lesion now known as Hunner's ulcer.
