Pir·quet test

n :  a tuberculin test made by applying a drop of tuberculin to a scarified spot on the skin - called also Pirquet reaction 
 
Pir•quet von Ce•se•na•ti•co, Clemens Peter (1874-1929),
Austrian physician. Pirquet is remembered for his fundamental work on tuberculosis and allergy. In 1907 he introduced a cutaneous reaction test for the diagnosis of tuberculosis that is now known as the Pirquet test.
