npl  ac*nae ro*sa*ce*ae   :  acne involving the skin of the nose, forehead, and cheeks that is common in middle age and is characterized by congestion, flushing, telangiectasia, and marked nodular swelling of tissues esp. of the nose - called also rosacea  .
