Jacobson, Ludwig Levin (1783-1843),
Danish anatomist. Jacobson was a specialist in comparative anatomy. He discovered Jacobson's organ and the vomeronasal cartilage in 1809. He published an article on the anatomy of the ear in 1818. This article contains his descriptions of the scala tympani, the tympanic nerve, and the tympanic plexus.
