n : an aqueous solution of sodium borate, sodium bicarbonate, glycerin, and phenol used as a spray for the nose and throat Do•bell, Horace Benge (1828-1917), British physician. Dobell devoted much of his career to originating and establishing in Britain the system of hydropathic treatment.
