n :  a drug consisting of dextrorotatory amphetamine that is usu. administered as the sulfate (C9H13N)2·H2SO4, is a strong stimulant of the central nervous system, is a common drug of abuse, and is used medicinally esp. in the treatment of narcolepsy and attention deficit disorder - called also dexamphetamine  - see DEXEDRINE  .
