May-Grün·wald stain
n : a stain for blood consisting of a saturated solution of eosin in methylene blue added to methyl alcohol - called also Jenner's stain May, Richard (1863-1936), and Grünwald, Ludwig (b 1863), German physicians. May and Grünwald introduced their staining solution in an article published in 1902.
